Project type
Custom new home design with wellness and view-focused spaces
Existing problem
The home needed to combine recreation, wellness, entertaining, accessibility, storage, and wide countryside views into one coherent plan.
Design response + deliverables
Organize specialty spaces across multiple levels while maintaining a strong exterior presence and practical long-term function.
Basement, first-floor, and second-floor plans, exterior renderings, and custom residential drawing package coordination.
The challenge
The home needed to be more than a standard new build.
The design had to accommodate a very specific lifestyle: large-scale recreation, wellness, entertaining, accessibility, storage, and wide views of the surrounding countryside.
The home also needed to organize several major features into one coherent plan, including a basement exercise area sized for a 40-foot swim spa, two kitchen areas, two living areas, a sauna, a three-story elevator, a solarium, and an attached two-car garage.
Design priorities
- Create a large custom residence with a strong exterior presence
- Plan for long-term accessibility with a three-story elevator
- Accommodate a basement swim spa and exercise area
- Include multiple living and kitchen areas for flexible daily use
- Provide a solarium with a large skylight and rooftop deck above
- Use the hillside setting to capture expansive views
Design concept
The renderings show the home from both the downhill view and the uphill wooded approach.

Design response
A highly personalized home organized around views, wellness, and daily function.
This project combines practical residential planning with several uncommon program requirements. The design gives each major feature its own purpose while keeping the home organized, connected, and livable.
The solarium and rooftop deck take advantage of the site views, while the basement level, elevator, sauna, garage, and multiple living/kitchen zones support comfort, accessibility, and specialized day-to-day use.
Project outcome
The result is a clear design concept for a custom residence that supports recreation, wellness, accessibility, entertaining, storage, and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
